Pisco Base Camp Trek combines with 69 Lake in the Llanganuco valley within Huascaran National Park

In the Pisco Base Camp we will meet with many climbers who attend to climb to Nevado Pisco at 5752m. One of the most popular mountain in the Cordillera Blanca.
From Base camp we will have spectacular views of 360° of the next mountains as Huascaran North, Huascaran South, Chopicalqui, Chacraraju, the four Huandoy peaks.

Challenging 2-day trip perfect as an acclimatization indicator for longer tours ( Huayhuash trek – Cordillera Blanca trek or climb)

For spend the night there are two options it can be in the tents or in Refugio Peru

Itinerary


Day 1.- Huaraz - Yuraccoral – Pisco Base Camp
You will be picked up from your hotel then you will be transferred along the Callejon de Huaylas valley, passing by small cities as Marcara, Carhuaz, Yungay then continue by llanganuco valley we will pass by the twin llanganuco lakes and finally to Yuraccoral ( three hours drive ) here we will start to hiking up for 4 hours to Pisco Base Camp at 4600m.

Day 2.- Pisco Base Camp – Lake 69 – Llanganuco – Huaraz
After breakfast, we started heading in the direction of Laguna 69. We will take a path traversing the side of the mountains, sometimes also called the ‘Pisco high route’ then climb up to view point at 5000m. Crystal clear views of almost a dozen peaks: Chopicalqui 6,354m. Huascaran South 6,768 m. and Huascaran North 6,655 m. Huandoy Peaks, Chacraraju are the center group, and also panorama views of Pisco Yanapaccha then you descend to Lake 69 then continue by Demanda valley to Llanganuco where our transport will be waiting for us to drive back to Huaraz.
